"The Story of Scripture: How God's Word Came to Us"
Explain International's National Apologetics Conference 2026 brought together over 600 people for a day of teaching, fellowship, and thoughtful engagement with the reliability and transmission of Scripture. Throughout the conference, participants were encouraged to understand how we received the Bible and why we can have confidence in God's Word.
We are grateful to God for the speakers, volunteers, and everyone who participated, and especially thankful to DUMC for partnering with us to make this gathering possible.

The National Apologetics Conference was a one-day national gathering focused on the theme: "The Story of Scripture: How God's Word Came to Us." It was designed to help believers understand how the Bible was revealed, formed, faithfully preserved, and recognised throughout history.
The conference aimed to:
- Equip believers with a strong Biblical understanding of the origin and reliability of Scripture.
- Strengthen confidence in the authority and trustworthiness of God's Word.
- Help Christians to comprehend, articulate and defend the Christian faith.
- Encourage gospel-centred apologetics in today's sceptical and pluralistic culture.
- Help participants understand why the allegation that the Bible has been corrupted is unsubstantiated.
- Support the Malaysian church in raising Biblically grounded and confident believers.
The conference was held on 25th August 2026 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Dream Centre, DUMC, across four locations to host four tracks running concurrently.

There were 12 workshops, and each participant attended two:

- Archaeological & Historical Evidence for the Bible — Dr. Samuel Gan
- New Testament Textual Criticism — Asher Chee
- Effective Bible Study Leadership — Pastor Wayne Areki
- The Bible and Political Life in a Nation — Eugene Yapp
- Messianic Prophecies — Rev. Samuel Nesan
- Old Testament Textual Criticism — Dr. Kyle Essary
- Scientific & Philosophical Objections to the Bible — Dr. Samuel Gan
- Worship Shaped by Scripture — Pastor Brock James
- Resolving Alleged Bible Contradictions — James Lee
- Reconciling Suffering in Light of Scripture — Dr. Jared Wellman

A seminar for Tamil churches in Seremban that equipped congregation members to recognise and respond to cult teachings with biblical clarity and confidence.
